ZOREAL Verify
Alternatives to Hive
Hive sells cloud AI APIs for content moderation and understanding, among them an AI Image and Deepfake Classifier, AI Video Detection and an AI Audio Classifier that return per-class confidence scores, with source attribution across more than 50 generators, at published per-request prices. ZOREAL Verify examines PDFs and document images for forgery and manipulation, images for AI generation and editing, audio for synthetic or cloned voices, and video for deepfakes. This page sets the two side by side on what each classifies, what each returns, and what each publishes about price, data handling and certification.
Information last reviewed 10 September 2026. Compared: Hive’s AI-generated content detection APIs against ZOREAL Verify; Hive’s moderation, OCR, language-model and generation products and ZOREAL’s identity products are out of scope.
Where ZOREAL Verify and Hive differ
Multimodal by design
Verify is multimodal: PDF, images, audio and video, checked for deepfakes, fraud, AI-edited content and voice clones.
Two published price lists
Hive: “$6.00 / 1000 Image Requests”, “$6.00 / 1000 Video Frames” and “$10.00 / Audio Hour”, a free tier of “100 requests/day” per detection API and “$50+ in Free Credits after adding a payment method” (USD, September 2026). ZOREAL Verify: 10 free checks a day; Premium includes a monthly fraud-check pool.
Class scores beside findings
Hive returns a 0 to 1 confidence per class, with published starting thresholds (0.9 for an AI-generated image, 0.5 on two consecutive frames for deepfake video) that the customer tunes for their use case. ZOREAL Verify presents findings to review in context: what deserves attention, where it appears and why it matters, alongside the information you already have.
Documents, or a moderation platform
Hive’s documentation describes detection for image, video, text and audio content inside a platform of 21 APIs; PDF document forensics is not stated in the public materials we reviewed. ZOREAL Verify’s document analysis looks at content, fonts, graphical consistency, metadata and digital signatures, alongside its image, audio and video analysis.
Side by side
Comparison of ZOREAL Verify and Hive’s AI-generated content detection on what is classified, what is returned, pricing, integration, data handling and certifications, from Hive’s public materials reviewed on 10 September 2026 and ZOREAL’s own pages reviewed on 11 September 2026.
| Attribute | ZOREAL Verify | Hive |
|---|---|---|
| What is examined | Document analysis looks at content, fonts, graphical consistency, metadata and digital signatures to reveal changes beneath the finished page: changed amounts, replaced payment details and altered text, and whether a signed document has remained intact. Image analysis examines both AI-generated imagery and signs of manipulation within an image. Audio analysis examines acoustic patterns for signs of synthetic speech and voice cloning. Video analysis looks for generated or manipulated imagery, including face swaps and inconsistencies across frames. | Image and video: classifier heads “ai_generated, not_ai_generated” and “deepfake” per detected face, plus source classes for generators such as Sora, Pika, Kling, Luma, Runway, Flux, DALL-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and Imagen, with “none” and “inconclusive” classes; video is “evaluated on a per-frame basis”. Audio: the classifier “breaks every input audio clip into 10 second chunks” and scores each. A music model attributes 14 generators and a Celebrity Voice Detection model (August 2026) identifies over 500 public figures’ voices (developer docs). |
| Modalities | Verify is multimodal: PDF, images, audio and video, checked for deepfakes, fraud, AI-edited content and voice clones. | Images (gif, jpg, png, webp), video (mp4, webm, avi, mkv, wmv, mov), audio (flac, mp3, ogg, wav, m4a) and text (developer docs); size and duration limits are not stated. PDF document forensics is not stated in the public materials we reviewed (docs, pricing, moderation site). |
| Models | Verify runs proprietary, state-of-the-art models trained on hundreds of millions of PDFs and images. | Two classifier heads plus source attribution across more than 50 named generators; “The confidence scores for each model head sum to 1.” No accuracy percentage or evaluation dataset is stated in the public materials we reviewed; the docs publish threshold guidance instead (developer docs). |
| What is returned | Verify examines the document or media: how it may have been created or changed. It presents findings to review in context: what deserves attention (the type of change or inconsistency that needs review), where it appears, and why it matters, alongside the information you already have. It does not address the person behind an interaction, which is Identify’s question. | JSON with 0 to 1 scores per class; recommended starting thresholds “AI-Generated Image: 0.9”, “AI-Generated Video: 0.9 on any frame”, “Deepfake Image: 0.9”, “Deepfake Video: 0.5 on two consecutive frames, or 5% of all frames”; audio guidance of 0.9 for general accuracy, 0.5 for recall and 0.99 for precision; per-chunk timestamps for audio; source attribution “when available”. A PDF report or evidence download is not stated (developer docs). |
| Pricing | Free: 10 Verify checks per day, "One shared pool across eligible check types" (PDF fraud, AI image detection, still-image deepfake checks, age estimation and liveness when available). Premium: 10 PDF fraud and AI image checks per month, then metered per additional check; ID document verification and MRZ reading, the full KYC bundle (document, chip, face match and liveness) and AML and sanctions screening (including the screening certificate) metered per check; liveness verification listed as "Coming soon" and metered per check; document manipulation and forgery checks, bank statement and letter fraud detection, moderation, NFC chip verification, face matching, business verification and proof of address at "Ask about pricing". "Checks are available through Bynn today; the integrated ZOREAL Verify dashboard is coming soon." Unused allowances do not roll over. Premium is priced per user, monthly or yearly, with two months free on yearly billing; every organization member is a paid Premium seat; metered usage is charged separately. Enterprise: contact us. Current prices are on the ZOREAL price list at zoreal.com/pricing. | AI Image + Deepfake Classifier “$6.00 / 1000 Image Requests” ($0.006 per image); AI Video Detection “$6.00 / 1000 Video Frames” (the frame sampling rate applied is not stated); AI Audio Classifier “$10.00 / Audio Hour” ($10.00 / 60 = $0.1667 per minute); free tier “100 requests/day” per detection API; Developers plan with “$50+ in Free Credits after adding a payment method”; Enterprise by sales. Volume discounts and annual terms are not stated. USD, September 2026. |
| Integration | The pricing page lists "Bynn REST API, SDKs and result webhooks" on Premium and "ZOREAL dashboard uploads and detailed results" as "Coming soon", with the note that checks are available through Bynn today and the integrated ZOREAL Verify dashboard is coming soon. The API reference on zoreal.com covers the Meetings API; no Verify API reference is published on zoreal.com as of September 2026. | REST API on uploaded files or URLs, a web dashboard, a Chrome extension and an X/Twitter integration for browser-based scanning; “21 different APIs across three different categories” (docs home, moderation site). A native mobile SDK is not stated. |
| Data handling | Not stated on zoreal.com as of September 2026. The examples on the Verify page are interactive illustrations; switching formats or selecting a detail changes the illustration and does not upload a file or run a live analysis. | “The Services are operated from the United States.”; information “may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries” (privacy policy). A retention period for submitted media is not stated in the public materials we reviewed. |
| Certifications | Organization-level, as zoreal.com lists them for Bynn Intelligence, Inc.: SOC 2 (attestation), PCI DSS (SAQ A), GDPR (data protection), ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (information security certification) and CSA STAR Level One (cloud security self-assessment). No Verify-specific evaluation or certification is stated on zoreal.com as of September 2026. | Not stated in the public materials we reviewed (homepage, pricing, developer docs, privacy policy). |
Third-party details on this page reflect what each provider publicly stated on the review date shown above and may have changed since. Where a provider does not state something publicly, this page says so rather than assuming. Where ZOREAL Verify and Hive agree
Both classify AI generation and manipulation across images, video and audio. Hive scores whether an image or frame was AI-generated and whether a detected face is a deepfake, and scores each 10-second chunk of audio; ZOREAL Verify’s image analysis examines both AI-generated imagery and signs of manipulation within an image, its audio analysis examines acoustic patterns for synthetic speech and voice cloning, and its video analysis looks for generated or manipulated imagery, including face swaps and inconsistencies across frames. On a photograph, a clip or a voice recording the two ask the same question.
Both publish a price and a free way in: Hive 100 requests a day per detection API and $50 or more in credits after adding a payment method, ZOREAL Verify 10 checks a day on the Free plan. Both deliver by API (ZOREAL’s through Bynn today), and neither publishes an accuracy figure for its deepfake video detection: Hive gives threshold guidance in place of one, and no Verify-specific evaluation is stated on zoreal.com.
Hive’s scope is both wider and narrower than Verify’s. Wider, because detection sits inside a moderation platform of 21 APIs with OCR, text and audio moderation, AI music and celebrity voice models, generator attribution across more than 50 sources and a Chrome extension. Narrower, because PDF document forensics is not stated on Hive’s pages, while ZOREAL Verify’s document analysis of content, fonts, graphical consistency, metadata and digital signatures sits beside its media analysis.
